How to find and read blog articles

When you view the blog home page (click on the banner at the top of the page) you will see a list of the most recent articles submitted to the blog. All of these articles are cross referenced by Category, so you can also browse through them by clicking on a Category link. Some of the longer articles may show only the first paragraph, and you will have to click on the article header or the “read more” link to see the rest of the article.

When viewing an entire article, there will usually be links at the top of the page that allow you to go to the previous or next article in the list, without the need to first go back to the home page or category list.

How to read or post comments

At the end of each article on the main page there is a link to view the comments (the link may say “no comments” if none have been posted yet). That link will allow you to view any existing comments and post one of your own. You can also post a comment when you view the article in its entirety, as described above.

Please be aware that we must review all comments before they will be visible on the blog, so it may be take a day or more for it to show up. Only users who are registered and logged in can leave comments.

How to Register

In the side bar on the home page there is a link to “Login” and another link for first-time users to “Register”. All that required is a username and a valid email address. We will send you your initial password. Once you login you can modify your profile and change your password as desired.

How to get notified when something changes

This blog supports RSS feeds (Really Simple Syndication), which is an internet standard way of notifying users when the content changes on a web page. You can sign up for RSS by clicking on an RSS link in the side bar. While RSS is easy to use, explaining it is a bit challenging. For more information, please read this.
